Barcelona and Madrid are usually the first cities that come to mind when someone mentions Spain, but Valencia is actually the best place in this country to visit with your entire family. Here’s a couple of kid-friendly spots you can only find in this beautiful city.

City of Arts and Sciences

This cultural and architectural complex is one of Valencia’s most popular tourist attractions, and it’s probably the reason why you’re planning to visit this city in the first place. It offers a planetarium, an interactive museum, an oceanographic park, and several other structures that visitors of all ages can enjoy together.

Gulliver Park

Located just across the street from the City of Arts and Sciences, this whimsical park features an enormous sculpture of the titular character from Jonathan Swift’s famous novel Gulliver’s Travels.

The Fallas Museum

This museum allows you to relive Valencia’s popular Fallas Festival. Papier-mâché sculptures known as ninots are displayed across the city and burnt during the celebration, but the ones that survived the fire can still be found at this museum.
