Comic-Con Experience – Brazil

Think of Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) as San Diego’s Comic-Con but in South America. Based on the most popular comic book convention in the world, CCXP is held annually in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in early December. While its main focus is comic books, the event also offers attractions and content revolving around video games, movies, and TV series. Thanks to its diversity, it is now considered one of the biggest pop culture events in the world.

MCM London Comic-Con – UK

If you are looking for something similar to what you’re used to, then MCM London Comic-Con should definitely be at the top of your list. The event takes place twice a year, in May and October, and offers exciting exhibits, previews, and guest appearances from comic book authors and artists, video game developers, superhero movies actors. Besides comic book fans, the MCM London Comic-Con is also aimed at sci-fi enthusiasts, gamers, and cosplayers.

Comiket — Japan

Manga fans should immediately book their ticket to Japan in order to visit Comiket. This non-profit event is the largest fan convention globally and sees more than 750K visitors on an annual basis. It is typically held in Tokyo two times a year, in August and December, and is known for giving the floor to self-published works.
