Wellington Cable Car
A ride on this iconic cable car is a quintessential Wellington experience, enjoyed by people of all ages. It’s been around since 1902 and it now only takes five minutes to get to the top, but it’s a ride worth taking because you’ll get to witness some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Wellington.
Weta Cave
New Zealand famously served as the filming location of The Lord of the Rings franchise and you can explore this part of its heritage at Weta Cave.
