3 Things to Consider Before Packing Books For Your Trip

If you’re a huge bookworm and can’t imagine a day without reading, chances are you bring a book or two everywhere you go. Finding enough room for books in a tiny suitcase can be tricky, and here’s what you should consider before packing them for your next trip.

Realistic Goals

Set realistic reading goals so you wouldn’t end up packing more books than you need. If you’re spending most of your time relaxing at the beach or a hotel room, you’ll have a lot of time for reading at your disposal. If you’re sightseeing and visiting museums all day long, chances are you’ll be pretty tired by the end of the day.

Long Commute

If your trip includes long rides by bus or train, packing more books than you usually do is a good idea, since they come in handy when you want to pass the time.

Saving Space

The longer your trip is, the more books you’ll need, but you’re probably going to bring a bigger suitcase. Figure out how many books you can read during this time, and don’t pack any more than necessary since they’re heavy and take up too much space. If you don’t have enough room for physical copies, ebooks and audiobooks are a great alternative.
