3 Underrated American National Parks

We completely understand why millions of people want to see Yellowstone, the Rocky Mountains, and the Grand Canyon each year, but how about all the other amazing national parks in the U.S.? There are some beautiful places around the country that may be closer to you and they’re typically not crowded like the more popular national parks. Here are our three favorites.

National Park of American Samoa

American Samoa is home to the only U.S. national park in the Southern Hemisphere and it’s definitely worth a visit. This is the place where you can see the endangered flying fox, as well as Ofu beach and its incredible coral reefs.

North Cascades National Park

This tundra in the Pacific Northwest is one of the places with the most snow on the planet. The landscape is amazing and if you have a chance to visit, definitely do!

Virgin Islands National Park

The Virgin Islands are among the most beautiful places in the Caribbean, and if you didn’t know, over half of Saint John island is a national park! What more can you want?
