Tel Aviv is known to be a beach city, but for those willing to look further, there are many other hidden-gem beaches around Israel. If you prefer more secluded, natural spots, check out these four beautiful beaches next time you’re in Israel.

Habonim-Dor Beach

This is quite possibly the most stunning piece of coastline along the Israeli side of the Mediterranean. Located only an hour’s drive from Tel Aviv, the water at Habonim-Dor Beach is clear blue and it boasts a lagoon, lots of little bays, and a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Mikhmoret Beach

Mikhmoret beach is located just north of Netanya, making it easily accessible. While being quite close to the city, this beach has a calm and remote atmosphere, alongside conveniences such as restrooms, changing rooms, and a cafe.

Caesarea Aqueduct Beach

The Caesarea Aqueduct Beach on one of the country’s most unique beaches. The inland edge is marked by ancient Roman Aqueduct ruins. While the ruins attract many visitors the beach itself is pretty quiet on weekdays.

Achziv Beach

Set within the natural surroundings of Achziv National Park in northern Israel, this beach offers magical coves, enchanting lagoons, clear blue waters, and pristine sand. Between May and September, you may spot turtles making their way back into the sea after laying their eggs along the beach.
