A Taste of Hong Kong with Nicole Fung

Nicole Fung is the perfect guide for eating out in Hong Kong. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Fung—a foodie and entrepreneur—now runs the online magazine and viral phenomena That Food Cray !!! alongside her husband and partner in crime, Eugene Kan.

In an interview with Exceptional Alien, Fung explained that it was Hong Kong’s buzzing food culture that inspired her to launch her online platform.

“I was constantly inspired by the food and people around me, which is actually why I started That Food Cray !!!” she relayed. “Living in Hong Kong is completely different than having a vacation in Hong Kong,” she added.

Now a global gastronomic, travel, and lifestyle media platform, That Food Cray !!! deserves the online hype. Posts include a list of The Best Coffee Shops in Hong Kong, a guide to eating in Tokyo, and recipes.

“Hong Kong is a major travel hub,” explained Fung. “Living in Hong Kong has made travel so much more accessible. I can fly to places like Tokyo, Bangkok, Bali, Shanghai, and Taipei fairly easily and it’s extremely affordable!”
