Ain Dubai, the World’s Largest Observation Wheel, to Open Soon

Dubai is known for less-than-modest buildings and structures. It has several “biggest” and “tallest” buildings in the world and the latest one is about to open soon. Ain Dubai will be the largest observation wheel in the world—by a lot.

The giant observation wheel called Ain Dubai is about to become a part of the record books. It’s over 250 meters (820 ft) high, which is significantly more than the London Eye or the High Roller in Las Vegas. Dubai is currently home to the tallest tower in the world, the Burj Khalifa, the highest restaurant in the world, the largest fountain show, the fastest roller coaster, and the list goes on. The new wheel has been announced n 2013 and took over eight years to complete.

It’s hard to imagine just how big it is. It can take 1,750 riders at a time. The design and infrastructure are impressive. There are 48 cabins that can take up to 40 people each and there will be three types of cabins available: observation cabins, social cabins (VIP), and private cabins with a private three-course dinner that lasts for two full wheel rotations (one rotation lasts 38 minutes).

The wheel is scheduled to open on October 21st, 2021, and tickets are already available starting at $35.
