Avoid These Shoes Whenever You’re Packing for a Trip

Packing can be difficult, especially when you want to pack light but also want to look great and feel confident. But there are some easy things to avoid so at least you can narrow down which shoes you know you should bring.

Heels

This should go without saying, but if you plan to do a lot of walking, don’t bring heels! A good alternative to them is to bring small wedges or platforms so at least you have more stable shoes.

New Shoes

Though it’s tempting to go shopping right before a trip and buy a new pair of shoes, avoid it if you can! Your body actually takes 2-3 weeks to get used to new shoes, and you might not realize how uncomfortable they are until you break them in a bit.

Flip Flops

A lot of people, when they travel in the summer, want to be able to bring as much as they can, and skimp on their sandals and opt for flip flops instead. However, flip flops are a really terrible choice of shoes, because they don’t provide any arch support or ankle support, and if you’re walking around a lot you can really damage your feet or ankles.
