You’ve probably come across these colorful hot air balloons on social media a few times. They are the treasure of Cappadocia, Turkey.

Besides being famous for the hot air balloons, Cappadocia also has beautiful natural rock formations in the shape of waffle cones and Bronze Age homes you can visit.

This place is great for solo travels or even a small group of friends. Three days is a good amount of time to be in Cappadocia, so you can have enough time to trek through the mountains and even ride a hot air balloon (if you’re not afraid of heights!)

Fly High in the Sky

You’ll be rising about 1/2 km into the air with a stunning view of the Cappadocian landscape. The best way to get the full experience of this tour is to book through an agency to make sure your tour is legitimate and safe.

Underground Cities

The area of Cappadocia is home to a dry ecosystem with occasional showers of rain and plenty of wind. The underground cities in this area have a plethora of caves you can crawl through and explore. You’ll even come across a couple of cone-shaped rocks that look like waffle ice cream cones!
