Specializing in luxury and family travel, she launched her blog-turned-brand Carmen’s Luxury Travel in 2013, after some encouragement from a close friend who urged her to document and share her envy-inducing experiences around the world.
Her brand is now dedicated to those of us who like to indulge in the finer things in life. Those include reviews and recommendations on exclusive beach hotels, small luxury hotels, weekend spa escapes, cruises, gourmet restaurants—and everything else you need to live your best life.

“The best piece of travel advice I’ve ever been given relates to packing!” she relayed in an interview with Travel Awaits. “My friend once told me to pack everything I absolutely want to bring on a trip…and then take half of it out! Also keep in mind that if you’re packing something you never wear at home, chances are you won’t wear it on your trip.
“Thankfully, we are more than halfway through 2020,” she shared in a recent Instagram post. “Here’s hoping next year brings healing, positivity…. and a LOT more travel!”
And while international travel is still discouraged, Edelson has already won us over.
