Perched on the border between Asia and Africa and known as Egypt’s paradise, the Sinai peninsula is a fantastic place to relax. Rather than the busy, touristy Sharm El Sheikh, head to the quieter resorts of Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba. Here you can stay in simple, beachside accommodation and spend your days snorkelling, sunbathing and chilling the heck out!

Stay in a Husha

Hushas are small traditional Bedouin huts that are the main accommodation option in Sinai if you’re not heading to a luxury resort. Usually made of bamboo or other natural materials, hushas allow you to get back to nature, unplug and switch off. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and open the door in the morning to watch the sunrise over the Red Sea.

Chill Out

Sinai is a perfect holiday destination for folks who need some serious relaxation. With a slow, easy pace of life, plenty of opportunities for chilling, as well as a number of yoga and meditation retreats to choose from, you will return from Sinai feeling recharged.

Diving and Snorkelling

Sinai has long been prized by divers and snorkelling enthusiasts as a dream destination. Here you can get up close to amazing marine life, wrecks, caves and stunning coral reefs. There are lots of diving schools where you can take lessons, guided tours and hire equipment.
