The world is rapidly changing and many things will be different after this pandemic is over. Among them are the cruises that are currently put on hold, but the cruise agencies are already making plans for the time after COVID. Here are some of the things that will change.
Hanging Out With the Crew
One of the most fun part of the cruise used to be socializing with the staff, but that’s not going to be possible, at least until the pandemic is officially over. Anything that involves physical contact or close interactions will be put on hold for a while.
Smoking
Many cruises have already banned smoking completely, and those that are not are only having small sections where smoking is allowed. You’re going to have to choose between smoking and a cruise vacation, apparently.
Outdated Technology
It was about time that cruises update the technology used on the ships. One of the first new things to arrive will be sterilization robots that already have a place in the travel industry.
