Don’t Forget This When Exploring a City

When walking through an exciting city—especially one that you’ve never seen before—it can be exhausting. You may walk around for hours, getting lost in cobblestone roads, various landmarks, and beautiful statues that you’ve never seen before. If you’re about to embark, make sure that you take a large bottle of water before you leave your hotel room.

This may seem like something obvious. Water is a no-brainer when you’re about to walk around a lot, right? Yes, but we tend to set our eyes on bigger prizes when traveling to foreign places. We assume that since we’re getting lunch at that fancy-looking diner, we’ll get our water fix there. Or perhaps we assume that we’ll get some frozen lemonade, or ice cream, on some exotic boardwalk. We forget about water because it’s just—for lack of a better word—a bit boring in the context of our trip.

But while our eyes are so focused on all the fun and games, it never hurts to have some water to sip on. As we walk from place to place, that extra water intake will make you feel so much better. And when you finally get home after such a long day, you’ll feel a lot healthier knowing that you drank an extra liter of water throughout the process.
