Fans of Modern Architecture Have to See These Skyscrapers in Melbourne

Fans of modern architecture traveling across Australia will feel right at home in Melbourne. You can find around 60 spectacular skyscrapers scattered around this city, and these three will take your breath away.

Rialto Towers

Rialto Towers are not impressive because of their height, but because they happen to be one of the timeless symbols of Melbourne. If you find yourself in this city, make sure to check it out right before sunset. It’s a true visual feast to watch its color change from dark blue to gold.

Eureka Tower

Eureka Tower was completed in 2006, and it was the world’s tallest residential building at the time. Its record was broken by many skyscrapers that came after it, but its height of 297.3 meters still makes it Australia’s third tallest building.

Australia 108

The title of the tallest building in Australia by roof height currently belongs to Australia 108. Another thing that makes this supertall skyscraper so impressive is the fact it’s the first 100-story building in the southern hemisphere. Australia 108 was finally completed this year, and it’s the shiniest star of Melbourne’s skyline.
