A River Runs Through It

While the story of this 1991 movie starred by Brad Pitt takes place in Missoula, Montana, the movie was filmed in the south of Bozeman, and around Yellowstone River and Boulder River.

Forrest Gump

When Forrest, portrayed by Tom Hanks, jogs across the United States, he passes Glacier National Park in Montana. But the state also features in the scene when he tells Jenny about his experiences, showing the beautiful Saint Mary Lake.

The Horse Whisperer

This is a 1998 classic starred and directed by Robert Redford. Some of the scenery in the film was shot in Absaroka and Beartooth Mountain Ranges.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe 

Given the wondrous wildlife and scenery, it is not surprising to discover that some parts of Narnia were actually shot in  Glacier National Park, Montana.
