The Oregon Coast in the Pacific Northwest of the United States is arguably America’s most scenic coastline. The spectacular green scenery, combined with the dramatic coast formations, make this a sight that you’ll never forget seeing.

If you’re planning your own trip to the Oregon Coast, here are four spots that you must see.

Sea Lion Caves

These spectacular caves are claimed as being the largest sea cave system in the United States. The impressive rock formations are populated by multiple species of sea lions that make this grotto their home.

Cape Arago

Cape Arago is located in the southern portion of the Oregon Coast and is a great place to hike and see tidal pools. It’s the perfect slice of the coast that’s a perfect representation of what it’s all about.

Haystack Rock

This huge rock is located in the intertidal zone of the Pacific Ocean in Cannon Beach, Oregon. At low tide, visitors can walk all the way out to the rock and observe marine life in the beach’s tidal pools.

Astoria

If you’re looking for a cool town to check out on the coast, go up north to the town of Astoria. Located at the discharge point of the Columbia River into the Pacific Ocean, this place has shops, historical attractions, and plenty of delicious restaurants.
