A visit to any of the major cities in the US comes with a high price tag, and Chicago is no exception. If you’re planning to visit this city on a limited budget, here’s a couple of fun things you can do for free.

“The Bean”

A visit to the Millennium Park is free of charge, and you can check out Cloud Gate aka “The Bean” while you’re there. It’s one of the city’s top attractions, so it only makes sense for it to be a part of your bucket list.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Zoos often come with a high price tag, but not this one. You can visit it for free, and enjoy a nice walk and beautiful views of the city after checking out all the amazing animals.

Garfield Park Conservatory

Nature lovers can also visit the third-largest garden under glass on the planet while in Chicago – and spend zero bucks in the process. Garfield Park Conservatory has no admission fee, just make sure to set aside enough time to explore this enormous tropical oasis.
