Gear for Getting Your Best Workout on the Road

Exercise is important, but it can be hard to maintain a regular exercise routine while traveling, especially if you usually work out at the gym. Depending on where your travels take you, walking around a city or going for a swim at the beach can work as an alternative option, but if you’re someone who prefers a bit more structure when it comes to their workout routine, bringing a few pieces of equipment with you can help. Fortunately, there are plenty of lightweight, packable pieces available today that make exercising a breeze anytime, anywhere. Here are some pieces we always make sure to bring with us when we travel:

Peach Bands Resistance Bands

Resistance bands are probably the best piece of travel workout equipment you can buy because they’re always going to be foldable, compact, and lightweight regardless of which weight you choose. We love Peach Bands for leg day because they’re color-coded and super durable.

Bala Bangles

These are our favorite wrist and ankle weights to use during workouts both at home and on the road. They’re available in both 1 and 2 pound designs, and while they are compact, it is necessary to consider the extra weight if you’re packing a bag to check at the airport.

Yogo Travel Mat

The perfect travel yoga mat does exist. These mats are sustainable, fold beautifully, and have the perfect amount of stickiness we need for a good yoga practice. They’re available in both regular and long designs for those in need of a bit more space.
