Get Ready for the Caribbean’s First Theme Park

Love theme parks but really want to visit the Caribbean? Good news—you no longer have to choose!

The magnificent islands of the Caribbean have white sand, turquoise water, calypso music, and fantastic food, but none of them boast a theme park. We can barely believe it either. That is all about to change though.

The attraction has been named Katmandu Park Punta Cana and will be located in the Dominican Republic. It will be linked to the global Falcon’s Beyond franchise which launched the original Katmandu Park in Mallorca, Spain.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the opening date for Katmandu Park | Punta Cana, which seamlessly blends first-of-its-kind immersive entertainment and attractions with premium hospitality, for the ultimate escape,” said the CEO of Falcon’s Beyond, Cecil D. Magpuri. ”We have structured ticketing in a way that offers fans the flexibility to explore the park however works best for their vacation, whether they want to visit once or return every day.”

In addition to 4D rides and theaters, the park will feature themed dining venues, carnival-style games, an outdoor ropes course, indoor climbing courses, and a 36-hole mini golf course situated on mountains and inside caves.

Katmandu Park Punta Cana is scheduled to open on March 15, with further parks planned for in Tenerife, Canary Islands, and Mexico.
