We all want fabulous travel photos from our trip that remind us of all of the amazing places we’ve seen, but things can get a little bit tricky when you’re traveling alone.
If you’re not a huge fan of selfies, you’ll end up asking a lot of strangers to take your pics – and they can still be amazing if you follow these steps.
Be Specific
The person you ask to take your picture probably isn’t a professional photographer, so you’ll have to tell them exactly where to stand and what to pay attention to when taking your photo.
Don’t Be Shy
We often have to take a bunch of pictures to get a good one, so feel free to ask a friendly stranger if they can take a couple of photos – or put the burst mode to some good use.
Giving Back
If someone asks you to take their photo first, check if they can take yours afterwards, since kindness goes both ways.
Right Pick
Some people are better at wielding a camera than others, so always go for people who seem to know what they’re doing.
