Traveling the world is a lot of fun, but sometimes it can be expensive, and travel within budget is not a simple thing. It is a fact, that much of the expense on the trip revolves around food.

Here are some tips to help you cut down on travel expenses.

Make Coffee!

Coffee is expensive in some places in the world. A cup of coffee can cost between $2 and $8 in some places! If you are staying at an Airbnb, bring coffee from home, and make coffee in the apartment. In most hotels, you can make coffee for yourself in the lobby or at breakfast.

Look for a Local Restaurant!

Got hungry in the middle of the day? Avoid tourist traps and try to look for a local restaurant, where the residents of the city eat. The food will be delicious, and usually cheaper than in the tourist attractions.

Cook!

A trip to the supermarket is always fun. Go to the local store and buy groceries to cook a delicious dinner on your own, or make sandwiches from local bread and spreads. It’s a great way to save money but also to experience the place in an authentic way.
