Incredible Day Hikes In and Around Vancouver, Canada

Vancouver is a wonderful city surrounded by spectacular nature. These are the stunning hikes in around the area for breathtaking views and afternoon adventure.

Dog Mountain

Just a half-hour drive from downtown, the Dog Mountain hike takes a couple of hours to complete, even in the snow. The views are incredible and you can sometimes catch the Northern Lights.

St. Mark’s Summit

St. Mark’s Summit is an 11km hike along the Howe Sound Crest Trail. The views are spectacular and the whole hike takes approximately five hours.

Stanley Park

Located at the edge of the city, Stanley Park contains some of the most magnificent trees in the world. The incredible rainforests are the perfect way to escape city life.

Mount Seymour

The Mount Seymour hike is most fun to do in winter, when you can ski or snowboard your way back down. The views are superb and the whole hike takes about five hours.

Diez Vistas

The Diez Vistas trail is a 4-6 hour hike in Belcarra Regional Park. On a hot day, you can cool off in Sasamat Lake on the way back down.
