India’s Dharamshala is a Paradise

Dharamshala is one of the must-see places North India. When we say Dharamshala, we usually do not mean the city itself, but a few villages around it where most of the tourist attractions, guesthouses, and restaurants are located.

Mcleod Ganj

A friendly village full of monks and home to the Tibetan leadership. The clear mountain air, accompanied by the magical atmosphere of Buddhism, the breathtaking views, and the abundance of restaurants, courses, and other attractions makes McLeod Ganj one of the touristy and fun places in North India—if not in all of India.

Bagso

Located about 2km from McLeod Ganj up the mountain, about a twenty-minute climb, you will find the village of Bagso. There you will find restaurants and guesthouses and even several shopping stalls.

Dharamkot

Despite its remoteness, you will find reasonably priced restaurants and guesthouses in Dharamkot. Arrival is by rickshaw (15 minutes, limited to two passengers only) or on foot via a shortcut from the top of Cloud Gang.

Nadi

A small and picturesque village with charming views. This is the most secluded village in the Dharamshala area, and you can get here on a nice day trip on the ascent from Darmakot or get to a longer time.
