Adjacent to the Jardin d’Acclimatation, a children’s amusement park, the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris offers its visitor an experience filled with fashion and art.

The foundation includes some permanent works as well as temporary exhibits. Some of the temporary exhibitions this year are called ‘Art / Africa: the New Workshop’ and ‘Being Modern: the MOMA in Paris’ just to name a few. Despite the foundation being a younger institution (a little over a decade old) the collection boasts some of the most prestigious modern and contemporary artists globally including Frank Grehry, who drew the sketch that inspired the architecture of the Foundation’s building.

As if the building wasn’t beautiful enough to visit, there are always countless sculptures and two-dimensional pieces on view for visitors to explore. The location is amazing being so close to Paris but the foundation also boasts one of the most interesting and full calendars of any cultural museum. Throughout the year there are artists lectures, dinner events, performances and a concerts featuring international and contemporary artists. The events range in price but there are always events available for all age groups, including young kids, and for different artistic interests as well.
