From modern architecture to amazing museums, Malmö is home to countless attractions worth exploring and its parks are top of the line. They’re scattered all around this Swedish city and here are four that offer the most relaxing experience.
Pildammsparken
Pildammsparken translates to “Willow Pond Park” and that tells you everything you need to know about it. The ponds around it once served as the city’s water reservoir and willows were planted around them to strengthen their barriers.
Slottsparken
Slottsparken or Slottsträdgården is one of Malmö’s most specious and popular parks, and it’s home to some of the city’s most iconic attractions, including the historic watermill. It covers around 12,000 square meters and it features many beautiful gardens with different themes.
Folkets Park
Folkets Park is one of Malmö’s best places to visit with your entire family, but it’s also known for frequently hosting markets, concerts, and other open-air events.
Kungsparken
The title of the oldest public park in all of Malmö belongs to Kungsparken, located in the heart of the city, just next to the Malmö City Hall. It’s one of the best places in the city to go to when you want to take a relaxing walk or go cycling.
