Namib is the world’s oldest desert and home to some of the driest regions on the entire planet. It extends down the Atlantic coasts of several countries in Southern Africa, and natural wonders are scatted all around it. These three are the biggest hit with tourists and you should definitely check them out.

Sossusvlei

Giant red sand dunes are one of Namib Desert’s most striking features, and there’s no better place to explore them than Sossusvlei. This giant salt and clay pan surrounded by high red dunes is one of Namibia’s top tourist attractions thanks to its fascinating landscapes.

Skeleton Coast

The term “Skeleton Coast” is sometimes used to refer to the Namib Desert coast as a whole, and it got this nickname because countless shipwrecks occurred here. Rusting ship hulls are scattered around its coast, and that’s one of the reasons certain parts of Skeleton Coast attract surfers to its shores.

Spitzkoppe

Spitzkoppe is known by the nickname the “Matterhorn of Namibia” and it fully deserves it because it’s one of the most impressive mountain peaks in this corner of the world. It became a major tourist attraction thanks to its sharp granite peaks, and it’s a popular spot for hiking, camping, and rock climbing.
