Nashville is one of the most sought-after cities to visit, not just in America, but in the entire world. The reason for this is that it’s considered to be one of the biggest music hubs in the universe, and therefore musicians across the globe flock there like cattle. But does Nashville live up to its reputation of “Music City”, or is it all smoke and mirrors? We’re here to settle the score. It totally and completely lives up to it, and here’s why.

Music City

If you’re a musician who has ever performed live, you know what it’s like to struggle to find gigs. Even in towns where there are plenty of places to play, it can still be hard to get “in” with the right people and to find venues that’ll allow you to perform there. Ultimately, it’s just a numbers game, and frankly, most cities just don’t have that many places to play. Well, except for Nashville, that is.

If you walk through the center of town in Nashville, it’s truly an incredible sight to see! Everywhere you turn is another bar that has a live band playing. On any given night, there can be literally 10 to 15 bands playing within a two-block radius—a statistic that’s mind-boggling to anyone who’s ever had any experience with live music. So if you’re looking to either see live music, or perform it, Nashville is truly the place to be!
