WizzAir is one of Europe’s leading low-budget airlines, and it offers affordable flights in over 40 countries. If you’re trying to save some extra cash on your WizzAir flight, joining their Discount Club might be a good option – but how does it work, and does it really pay off?

Wizz Discount Club

Joining Wizz Discount Club will set you back by €29.99 a year if you opt for a standard membership, which includes you and one extra passenger – under the condition that they’re on the same flight with you. Group membership is also available for €69.99 a year and it includes one member and five extra companions, making it perfect for families.

As far as benefits go, you’ll save €10 on ticket fares for flights that cost €19.99 or more. You can also save €5 on your checked-in bags, but this offer is only valid for 20 kg and 32 kg bags.

Does it Pay Off?

There’s no point in joining Wizz Discount Club if you rarely use their services. On the other hand, if you’re a frequent traveler, Wizz Discount Club can lead to some great savings.

As long as you take at least three Wizz flights a year, you won’t lose any money. The ticket fare discount is pretty great, but you probably won’t benefit from a bag discount if you enjoy traveling light because bags that weigh 10 kg or less, and those who are Wizz Priority members don’t receive this decrease in price.
