Using a complex algorithm that analyzes millions of data points throughout the US, SmokyMountains.com has managed to forecast exactly where—and when—the leaves are changing. Leaf watchers can receive real time foliage reports to plan their spotting trip accordingly.

“In 2013, potential visitors to the Smoky Mountain region began asking us questions about when the leaves would be most brilliant.
