We all want to live happy lives, but finding it is easier said than done. However, one good way to achieve it is by finding the right place to live, and when it comes to America, there are some cities that people simply adore. Indeed, the citizens of these cities seem to have an extra spring in their step—so without further ado, here are some of the happiest cities in America.

Austin, Texas

Austin has emerged over the last ten years as one of the trendiest places to live throughout the entire country. The capital of Texas has an emerging music scene, a thriving food culture, and beautiful scenery that just won’t quit. Oh yeah, and the people there are awesome.

Santa Cruz, California

But as opposed to Los Angeles, which can get a bit overwhelming if you’re there for too long, Santa Cruz is the peaceful alternative. If you happen to find yourself there, check out the historic Beach Boardwalk that’s been there since 1907.

Barnstable Town, Massachusetts

It might not have the greatest weather, but Barnstable, Massachusetts has a certain vibe that can be contagious. Not far from Martha’s Vineyard or Boston, Barnstable Town has been ranked as among the most joyful places to live in America. With its gorgeous landscapes and serene atmosphere, it won’t be hard to see why.
