What makes the design of this church so unique is an interesting blend of neo-Romanesque, neo-Gothic, and neo-Renaissance elements. Its instantly-recognizable pink shade wasn’t always one of its main traits—the church was actually painted in 1957 and went on to become one of the city’s most photographed spots. In addition to the main clock tower, the church features several smaller ones and its pink color is highlighted by white details that truly make it pop.
You should definitely check it out while in Ho Chi Minh, but make sure to step inside, as well. Its interior is just as picture-perfect and colorful since it features Italian marble altars and pink-colored walls that fit its exterior.
