]]>Expedia has found that 18% of couples want to visit more than one destination during their honeymoon, while a whopping 83% are actually planning multiple honeymoons!
The travel company conducted the survey following the COVID-19 pandemic, in light of several countries once again welcoming tourists. With 97% of newlyweds forced to cancel their trips over the last two years, 53% have planned to spend more on their vacation than they had originally budgeted.
When it came to destinations, old classics claimed the top spot.
48% of respondents said they wanted to visit museums, art galleries, and shows, while 42% prioritized restaurants, bars, and clubs.
Paris proved to be the third-most popular, retaining its reputation as a city for lovers. The cosmopolitan shopping haven that is Dubai came second, while the number one spot was awarded to the United Kingdom.
