St. Barth’s was originally a French colony, which can be seen in all of the architecture on the island. On top of that, there are designer stores, and luxury hotels dotted all over the island. With only 25 square miles, this is one of the smaller islands in the Caribbean, which has made it that much more exclusive. This island caters to the world’s elite.
Where to Stay
If you can’t afford to rent a yacht for the duration of your stay, then head to one of the many glamorous beachside resorts. Hotel Le Toiny St. Barth and Eden Rock St. Barth’s, are two choices where you are guaranteed to see someone famous. But if you want to enjoy the island, and it’s sixteen white sand beaches, opt for a secluded villa. Not everyone wants to see and be seen, and St. Barth’s offers a laid-back attitude, rather than one full of paparazzi.
This is not where you go for a cheap vacation, and as only private planes and charters can fly to this island, remember to factor that in the cost.

. BUT it’s the day we are supposed to pick up our camper in Cairns and start our road trip. Hmmm. I didn’t tell her I hadn’t booked flights yet (not unusual for me. Often ends in paying too much but often works out, eg, this) and I made her promise to commit. . If I do this Emmie, and lose two day of our trip you HAVE TO get up on stage. There’s no backing out, I told her. . She agreed and so A STAR IS BORN!
Saturday at the pub. Have you made a big change to your plans to make your kids happy? I’m sure this will be worth it.
. And when I checked the flight costs had gone up a ridiculous amount so we wouldn’t have been going on Saturday anyway but I prefer to think that in this case the Universe had Emmie’s back. . The only downside is she aggressively refused my request to be her backing dancer 
“I’ve always thought that in 10 years, my daughter Emmie wouldn’t thank me for installing a brand new kitchen and bathroom in our home, but she would thank me for filling her early years with amazing experiences, learnings, and sights and sounds from around the world,” writes Farrell on her website.

the beautiful Alma Bay “I’ve realized that working until I retire and then finally doing what makes me happy is not what I want my life to be about,” she reflected in another post. “I don’t want to work all through Emmie’s childhood. I want to enjoy our time together now and learn, explore and adventure together.”
I bought a tripod in town the other day but when I opened the box the essential piece – to attach camera to it – was missing! 
I was so annoyed cause I wanted a pic of Emmie and me together, but we went for our afternoon wander anyway and it worked out okay 
#mumsinphotosBut with Covid-19, the traveling duo needed to be extra creative. With restrictions on traveling taken into account, Farrell decided to settle down in Magnetic Island on the Great Barrier Reef in North Queensland, Australia. A 20-minute ferry ride from Townsville, its community consists of just 2,000 locals.
According to Farrell, more than 75 percent of the island is a national park. “Its 23 white sand beaches and bays are pristine, harbouring fish and tiny creatures in the coral and clear water,” she observed in a piece published on Mamamia. “Palm trees are everywhere and hoop pines grow out of the cracks between huge white granite boulders.”
We had a day out on the water yesterday with @aquascenecharters_ a local, family-owned and run company here on the island that does the BEST half day trips, sunset cruises and whale watching – wait til I tell you about that! 
We had an amazing time and this was one of the highlights – a kite taking a fish from Emmie’s hand. Brave! 
xThis makes for an ideal backdrop for an isolated vacation amidst the pandemic. “I still feel the need to travel, but I’m loving being here,” writes Farrell, adding: “I have met so many of these strong women here on the island. It’s a magical place, and it feels right. For now, the island is our home.”

For a fun skiing adventure, head to Beaver Creek in the Colorado Rockies. It’s well-geared for children, with loads of activities for the whole family, including skiing lessons, ice skating, trails, snow tubing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile rides.

Malta is defined by a mix of various cultural influences, which was caused by the island’s location in the middle of various trade routes. The Greeks, Romans, Normans, Arabs, French, and British have all ruled the island throughout its history before it became independent in 1964.
