Albert E. Sleeper State Park

If you head to Sleeper State Park on the southern shore of Lake Huron on the right, warm, sunny summer day, you might think you’re at the Atlantic Ocean! This paradise is a great spot for sunbathing on the peaceful beaches and for taking the boat out for a spin.

River Road Scenic Byway

The coolest drive you’ll find in the Lake Huron area is the River Road Scenic Byway, a 23-mile stretch of road in northern Michigan that takes you along the Au Sable River through forested areas until reaching the lake.
