Tijuana may be Baja California’s largest city, but Mexicali actually serves as its capital. The Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe is one of the main landmarks in the city’s downtown, but most tourists try to check out the kid-friendly museum Sol del Niño during their visit.
Situated south of El Paso, Ciudad Juárez is a fast-growing industrial center, and we’re yet to see what the future holds for it. The neoclassical Cathedral of Ciudad Juárez and Plaza de Armas are its top spots, but it’s also home to many museums that celebrate Mexico’s culture and history.
