Four decades later, the Sanctuary of Truth isn’t fully finished just yet, and it’s highly unlikely it will be completed before 2025. It’s almost impossible to tell when you look at it, since it’s one of Thailand’s most beautiful temples, even in its current form. Numerous types of wood have been used in the process of its construction, and the entire structure has been envisioned in the Ayutthaya style.
Pattaya makes for a perfect day-trip destination from Bangkok, and if you find yourself here, keep in mind that the Sanctuary of Truth is open between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. every day.
