The French Open has recently wrapped up, making us want to celebrate this country’s rich tennis history. If you’re a huge fan of the “white sport,” here’s a couple of impressive tennis stadiums in France you should know about.

Roland Garros Stadium

The French Open is commonly known by the nickname Roland Garros, because it’s been hosted at this stadium for decades. Named after the French pioneer aviator, Roland Garros is also home to the Museum of the French Federation of Tennis, and it served as the host of the Davis Cup.

AccorHotels Arena

With a capacity of around 15,000 seats for tennis games, Accor Arena stands shoulder to shoulder with Roland Garros. In addition to being used as a venue for the Paris Masters ATP Tour tennis tournament, it also hosts many other athletic and music events.

Sud de France Arena

Unlike the previous two venues, this indoor arena is located in Montpellier and not Paris. It’s only been around since 2010, and it’s best known for hosting the Open Sud de France tennis tournament, which is a part of the ATP Tour 250.
