Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and one of the major cities of the Iberian Peninsula. The city of Porto has a vast architectural heritage because of its long history.

Five temporary gallery spaces have been designed in the city by architects to house a traveling art exhibition. The exhibition, “Live Uncertainty: An Exhibition After the 32nd Bienal de São Paulo,” is a continuation of the traveling exhibition series that was presented in São Paulo’s 32nd Bienal from September to December of 2016. This exhibition is inspired by the ongoing distress our society is currently experiencing.

For this recent exhibition, five local architecture studios were asked to create a pavilion. “It’s a playful combination of pragmatic seriousness and frivolous irony. A composition where each element has its own value, complementing and contradicting each other,” said the architects.
