It’s no secret that the fruits from Asia are next-level delicious. They’re often super unique and different from the fruits you’re used to eating. If you get the chance to travel to Asia, be sure to try these out when you’re there. If not, you can always test your luck at an Asian market closest to you—they often carry these delicacies.

Lychee

Lychee can be found all over Asia and it’s lucky that they happen to be delicious! Lychee is a small stone fruit with a thick skin and a very sweet fruit inside. It also happens to be one of the most popular fruits from the region.

Pomelo

Pomelos are a cousin of the grapefruit, but a bit sweeter. They have incredible health benefits and taste great alone or on salads!

Rambutan

Rambutan looks like a super intimidating fruit because of the spikey skin, but when you learn how to eat it you’ll be impressed. It’s another stone fruit with a thick skin, and resembles lychee a bit in texture.

Starfruit

Starfruit, also known as Carambola, is from the Southeast Asia region. It gets its name, Starfruit, because when you cut it, the slices are shaped like stars! It’s a mix of sweet and sour, and looks great on any fruit plate!
