The Top Hostels In Livingstone, Zambia

Have you ever dreamed of seeing Victoria Falls, but didn’t want to shell out a lot for the experience? You don’t have to stay at expensive lodges along the Zambezi River to experience the magic of the falls and the colonial architecture of Livingstone, Zambia. There are a variety of budget hostels that offer dorms, private rooms, and campgrounds.

Jollyboys Backpackers

Jollyboys is not your typical hostel. It has a pool with a bar and a sunken lounge zone. It’s a beautiful place and makes its visitors want to stay for weeks—and many do. There are private rooms, individual cottages, dorms, and a small campground for those on a tight budget. It’s about $24 a night for a private room, with a washroom.

Fawlty Towers

The name itself says it all. The guesthouse is designed for everyone to have fun at, just like in the sitcom of the same name. It doesn’t have a campground, but it does have 24 rooms, a large pool, and a nice bar to enjoy some sundowners in. Rooms here are around $26 for private accommodation.
