Paris is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world, and for good reason. It’s a city of love, light, and truly spectacular culture. Many tourists visit Paris to enjoy gourmet cuisine, world-renowned art, and unparalleled shopping, and while you can’t go wrong with any of these activities, there are plenty of other somewhat less well-known things worth trying in Paris as well.
By all means, spend some time in the Louvre and dig into a plate of snails, but when you’re finished, consider trying some of these off-the-beaten-path options.
Take a Street Art Tour
Whether you’ve seen enough fine art or it’s just not your thing, one of the best ways to get to know more about the local culture of a city is through its street art. Check out Street Art Tour Paris for public and private tours, workshops, and more.
Try a Cooking Class
Most of us may never become Michelin Star chefs, but we can up our game in the kitchen a bit with some practice. We love Le Foodist cooking classes and wine-tasting tours, so Paris is the perfect place for them.
Visit Parc Montsouris
For less of the crowds but all of the charm you’d find at the more touristy Luxembourg Gardens, head to Montsouris. The park is home to a meteorological observatory and concerts are often held at the bandstand during the summer, but in our opinion, the best way to enjoy it is during an afternoon stroll.
