- While it can take over an hour to drive through them all, you can take a train and get from one place to the next in only a few minutes. You can get off the train in each village and continue to the next when you’re ready.
- You can easily reach Cinque Terre by car from Pisa or by train from Milan.
- Avoid visiting it during the peak summer season as it gets seriously crowded! If you can, choose late spring or early fall for the best experience.
- The area is perfect for hiking. If you have enough time, we recommend exploring all five villages on foot.
- A weekend is enough to fully experience the area, you don’t need to book several days. It’s better to see what other places in Italy you can see during your visit.
