With airline tickets at historically low prices as companies look to kickstart post-COVID travel, you might be thinking about finally summoning the courage to go on your first plane trip. If you are thinking about finally taking that step and trying to overcome your nerves, these tips will help you.

Research the Statistics

Despite the fears that you may have about something bad happening on your flight, the facts don’t lie. It is incredibly unlikely for your plane to suffer an incident or an accident. In fact, it is much more likely to suffer an automobile accident on your way to the airport!

Breathing Exercises

Get Up and Move

One thing that can help feel better when nervous is getting up and moving. Most times when a plane is at cruising altitude, the seatbelt sign will be switched off. This allows you to get up, stretch your legs, and move around inside of simply sitting down, consumed by nerves.
