Water Fountains in Singapore Are Really Next Level

If you think water fountains don’t count as tourist attractions, that’s only because you’ve never been to Singapore. Fountains in this country are a sight to behold, and here are a few you have to put on your bucket list.

The Merlion

This iconic statue and fountain takes the shape of a mythical creature with a lion’s head and the body of a fish. It’s the national symbol of Singapore, and it offers beautiful views of the city’s top attraction—the Marina Bay Sands.

Fountain of Wealth

Located right in front of one of Singapore’s largest shopping malls, Suntec City, the Fountain of Wealth is another one of the city’s iconic landmarks. It made it to the Guinness Book of Records as the largest fountain in the world in 1998, and it’s even more impressive if you get to see it when it lights up at night.

Tan Kim Seng Fountain

Singapore is home to many futuristic wonders of modern architecture, but if you prefer the classic style, make sure to check out this fountain in Esplanade Park, which has been around since 1882.
