There’s nothing like going abroad to somewhere hot and basking in the sun. For those of us whose home country doesn’t get much of a summer, this hot sunshine is super special. But this heat can become too much, so here are some ways to help deal with overheating.

Cold Water on Pulse Points

This is a super simple yet effective trick to help out. Run some cold water over your wrists, and hold a cold cloth to your neck area. This not only feels amazing, but it also helps your body deal with the heat.

Weat a Hat

This sounds obvious, but so many of us forget or choose not to wear one. It might feel impractical at times, but having a barrier between your head and the sun is essential to stop feeling so weary. It also helps protect your eyes from the glare.

Siesta

There’s a reason so many places around the world partake in siesta. Getting out of the sun during the hottest time of the day and taking a moment to just chill is super important for dealing with the heat. You’ll feel so refreshed after this break and ready to enjoy the slightly cooler evening.
