A county located on the southwestern tip of England, Cornwall is an incredibly rich travel destination with hundreds of beaches, wild moors, harbor villages, and seaside resorts galore. If you’re planning a visit anytime soon, here are some of the things we most recommend doing and seeing while you’re there.

Eden Project

It may look like two giant footballs from the outside, but from the inside, you can see that the Eden Project actually lives up to its name and pretty much looks like paradise. The world’s largest indoor rainforest, it’s really as good as they say that it is, and a must-see when you’re in the area.

Lost Gardens of Heligan

A sprawling garden that was once lost and neglected, the Lost Gardens of Heligan have since been restored to health by some very talented gardeners. Today, it’s a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

St Michael’s Mount

So you don’t start to think Cornwall has nothing to offer but plants, we also recommend visiting St. Michael’s Mount, a tiny island with a castle, a chapel, and yes, some really nice gardens. It’s a mystical, powerful place that you can only get to when the tide is low.
