What To Pack For A School Excursion

Spring, with its sunny days and warm weather, is the perfect time for going on a school excursion. If you are a parent whose kid is heading out for a day trip with his class for the first time, here is a list of things your child should bring:

Comfortable outfit

Field trips mean staying in nature all day long and walking and sightseeing a lot, so it is very important to dress your kid in a comfortable outfit. Tight jeans or uncomfortable sneakers will turn the exciting excursion to a nightmare. Dress your child in layers. Also, extra pair of socks are always super helpful if your kid’s feet get wet.

Backpack

A smaller, light-weighted backpack is the perfect option. For security reasons, write your family name inside the bag, also you should include your e-mail address or your phone number somewhere in the bag.

Cash

If the school policy allows their students to take extra money with them, you should give your kids a modest amount of cash. Do not overdo it, because they could lose it or get robbed.

Water bottles and snacks

A refillable inexpensive plastic water bottle is a must. As far as the food is concerned, the best solution is to pack non-perishable food, for example a healthy sandwich or/and a fresh yummy fruit.
