In 2013, Changi Airport was ranked the best airport in the world by the World Airport Awards. Since then, it has retained its top position for five years running. Wondering why? These reasons are just the start of it.

You Can Go For A Swim While You Wait…

In Terminal 1, there is a rooftop swimming pool. For $17, you can go for a dip in the pool while you watch the planes fly in from above.

…And There’s Plenty More Entertainment on Offer

In addition to rooftop swimming, you can visit a 24-hour movie theater or go for a walk in the Sunflower Garden. There is also a slide in Terminal 3 which is four floors high and not for the faint-hearted!

The Airport Is Super Efficient

Changi does everything it can to reduce waiting times. You can print your boarding pass from kiosks and jump queues at check-in. Each flight has its own security scanner and immigration area so you don’t have to wait in the queue for ages to get through security.

It’s Easily Accessible

You can travel by MRT to the airport for as little as $2. There is also a $9 shuttle, which will take you directly to your accommodation.

It’s Home To The World’s Largest Indoor Waterfall

When you arrive or depart, you can also admire the world’s largest indoor waterfall. The forest valley is complete with 3,000 trees and the waterfall is lit up during the sensational regular light shows.
