Perth is an Australian city that’s often underrated by travelers, but it has a lot to offer and it’s a good idea to visit it if you ever get a chance. Here are 3 things we love in Perth.

King’s Park and Botanic Garden

Visit King’s Park to enjoy amazing gardens. The location also provides an incredible view of the city. This is the best place for getting a sense of the native flora but you can also visit it for music and theatre events. You can enter the park every day for free.

DNA Tower

You can climb the famous DNA tower if you want to see the city from the highest point available. The DNA Tower is located in previously mentioned King’s Park and, besides the view of the city, also offers views of the Indian Ocean. It takes 101 stairs to get to the top but it’s absolutely worth it!

Beaches

There are plenty of great beaches in Perth that you can enjoy all year long. Some of the most famous ones are Cottesloe Beach, a long beach with white sand that’s popular for swimming, surfing, and snorkeling, Swanbourne Beach, where clothing is optional, and City Beach, especially loved by surfers.
